Project 1: Research Proposal

Food and Culture aims to provide an understanding and correlation between food, culture and architecture. The first project consists of producing a proposal in which the study is based on, with the location and scope of study as well as presentation method proposed to the class and lecturer.

Project 2: Group Video Recording

Next, a video compilation determining and explaining the different types of food styles and architecture is presented in the form of a video. In groups of 4 the video is required to explain the differences and/or similarities that the chosen locations may possess. The video must also fulfill requirements set by the proposal in that the scope of the study is strictly followed.

Project 3: Interpretation and Analysis of Proposal

The final project is the result of intensive study and research on the topic proposed, presented in a format that is agreed upon between the student, class and lecturer. The freedom in which the students were given as mediums to present allowed for many unique presentations on that day such as boards, blogs and comic strips. For this, I have opted for the A5 photo-book that presents about my scope of study.
